Bad Credit? No Problem! Has Surpassed One Million Downloads on iOS

When I released Bad Credit? No Problem! on iOS on August 8, 2024, I had no idea how far this strange little game about running a title loan office would go.

Now, less than two years later, the game has officially surpassed one million first-time downloads on iOS.

That number still feels unreal.

The game had a strong launch, including more than 14,000 downloads on release day, but the most surprising part has been how long it has continued finding new players. Even after the initial launch period, Bad Credit? No Problem! kept receiving steady downloads through App Store discovery, search traffic, word of mouth, and repeated featuring from Apple.

The game has now been downloaded more than one million times by new players, with hundreds of thousands of those downloads arriving well after the original launch window. It has continued reaching new people every day, including several major spikes from renewed App Store exposure.

For a game developed independently under Foorbytes, this is an incredible milestone.

Bad Credit? No Problem! began as a weird, funny idea inspired by the chaos of working inside a questionable title loan business. I wanted to create something that felt different from the usual mobile game, with awkward customers, strange situations, dark humor, and simple gameplay that could gradually become more stressful and unpredictable.

Seeing that idea reach more than one million people is something I am extremely proud of.

I am especially thankful to everyone who downloaded the game, left a review, shared it with someone, sent feedback, or simply spent some time behind the desk trying to survive another shift.

I am also grateful to Apple for repeatedly featuring the game and continuing to help new players discover it long after release. That ongoing support has played a major part in the game’s success.

Foorbytes is still a small independent operation, but this milestone proves that a strange idea, a lot of persistence, and a willingness to make something different can reach a much larger audience than expected.

There are more games coming, including new projects currently in development, and everything learned from Bad Credit? No Problem! will help shape what comes next.

Thank you for helping the game cross one million downloads.

Here is to the next million.
